For official IELTS questions

Some questions are best directed to the official IELTS test providers rather than us, including:

  • Booking or rescheduling your test. Contact IDP or British Council directly
  • Result enquiries or rechecks. Go through your test centre within the appeal window
  • Test centre locations and dates. Check the official IELTS website for your country
  • Identity document requirements. Confirm with your local test centre
  • Special accommodations. Contact your test centre at least 3 months before your test date

Frequently asked questions

Do you offer one-on-one IELTS tutoring?

Not currently. We are focused on providing high-quality free content for self-study. Our future membership platform will include AI-powered writing feedback and structured study plans, which may meet some tutoring needs.

Can you mark my IELTS essays?

We do not currently offer essay marking as a free service. This will be available through our paid membership platform when it launches. For now, we recommend using our model answers and band descriptors to self-assess your writing.

I noticed an error on one of your pages, how do I report it?

Please email content@ieltsbeacon.com with the URL of the page, a description of the error, and a citation source if available. We genuinely appreciate error reports and update our content quickly when issues are identified.

Can I write a guest post for IELTSBeacon?

We occasionally accept guest contributions from qualified IELTS teachers, examiners, or recent high-band candidates. Send your proposal to content@ieltsbeacon.com with your background, relevant credentials, and topic idea.

Do you partner with IELTS preparation schools or platforms?

We are open to partnerships that genuinely benefit IELTS candidates. If you represent an educational organisation interested in working with us, please reach out to hello@ieltsbeacon.com with details about your organisation and proposed partnership.
