How to Use These IELTS Practice Tests

Start with a full IELTS practice test if you want to see your current level and check your time management. Set aside about three hours for Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. If one skill needs more work, choose that module and practice it on its own. Listening takes about 30 minutes. Reading and Writing each take 60 minutes. Speaking usually takes 11 to 14 minutes. Choose Academic IELTS if you plan to study at university or need professional registration. Choose General Training if you are applying for migration or most work visas. After every attempt, check your score, finished modules and recent activity in your dashboard. Practice your weakest skill under timed conditions, then take another full test. This simple routine will help you see your progress and work towards your target band.
